Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (this “Policy”) describes certain rules of behavior and engagement when you use the Services. Our Terms of Service (the “Terms”) also have specific rules of conduct and other restrictions that users must abide by when using the Services. If this Policy and the Terms conflict, the Terms supersede and control. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
By accessing or using the Services, you are agreeing to this Policy. You agree not to use the Services for any of the prohibited purposes described below.
1. Illegal and harmful activities
Don’t violate the law, violate the rights of others, or engage in harmful activities when using the Services. This includes:
- Engaging in, promoting, contributing to, encouraging, facilitating or planning any illegal or unlawful activity or content, such as (i) acts of violence or terrorism, (ii) exploitation of or harm to children, including the solicitation, creation, acquisition, or dissemination of child exploitative content or child sexual abuse material, (iii) human trafficking, exploitation, and sexual violence, (iv) the illegal distribution of information or materials to minors, including obscene materials, (v) sexual solicitation or (vi) any other criminal activity;
- Engaging in, promoting, contributing to, encouraging, facilitating or planning harassment, abuse, threatening, or bullying directed at any individual or group;
- Engaging in, promoting, contributing to, encouraging, facilitating or planning discrimination in connection with the provision of employment, employment benefits, credit, housing, or other essential goods and services;
- Engaging in the unauthorized or unlicensed practice of any profession, such as financial, legal, medical/health, or related professional practices;
- Using the Services to conduct mass surveillance;
- Bulk reporting other individuals, users, or content through abuse reporting systems;
- Collecting, disclosing, or inferring private or sensitive information about individuals, including information relating to an individual’s identity, health, or demographics, unless you have obtained the necessary rights under applicable law;
- Engaging in or facilitating any action or generating any content that violates any third-party rights, including through the use of any Outputs;
- Creating, generating or distributing malicious code, malware, computer viruses, or doing anything else that could disable, overburden, interfere with or impair the proper working, integrity, operation or appearance of a website or computer system;
- Engaging in any action to intentionally circumvent or remove usage restrictions or other safety measures, or to enable functionality disabled by the Company;
- Engaging in, promoting, contributing to, encouraging, facilitating or planning activities that pose a risk of death or bodily harm to individuals, such as using the Services in connection with military activities, illegal drugs, or content intended to promote violence, abuse, or bodily harm.
2. Unauthorized system access or manipulation
Don’t use the Services to gain unauthorized access to or manipulate any system, network, account, or device. This includes:
- Engaging in unauthorized, illegal, or fraudulent financial transactions;
- Accessing or modifying another individual’s account using their stored credentials without authorization;
- Executing commands that exploit or attempt to exploit system vulnerabilities;
- Spamming government services, emergency response systems, or crisis helplines.
3. Deception and misinformation
Don’t use the Services to intentionally deceive or mislead others. This includes:
- Generating, promoting, or furthering fraud or the creating, distributing or promoting disinformation;
- Generating, promoting, or distributing defamatory content, including the creation of defamatory statements, images, or other content;
- Generating, promoting, or distributing spam;
- Impersonating another individual without their consent, including creating or editing images, voice, or video of other individuals (e.g. “deepfakes”), or otherwise misrepresenting yourself or falsely implying that you are affiliated or endorsed by another entity or person;
- Representing that Outputs are human-generated or otherwise misrepresenting the nature or source of AI-generated content;
- Generating or facilitating false online engagement, including fake reviews, fake testimonials, and other means of fake online engagement.
Enforcement and changes
If you violate or we suspect you violate this Policy, we reserve the right to take any action that we may deem appropriate in response to such violation, including terminating or suspending your account. We may update this Policy from time to time, in which case we will update the “Last Revised” date at the top of this Policy.
